Iguana in the City

There was an iguana in my yard last night. I didn't know they were city dwellers. They seem to be battling it out with the many cats that hang out back there. My money's on the iguana.

Speaking of the yard, it's my favorite spot in this house. After a day walking around this hectic city, it's so nice to come back here, shower off the car fumes and sweat, and pull up an extremely uncomfortable chair, and relax. That's an orange tree outside the door, and there are candles set up all around the table and hanging from the trees, which gives it a romantic, shabby chic look in the evening.

I took a walk last night and got this striking picture of the park near my house. It's always buzzing with activity, like dogs barking, old people talking, and kids running around. There's a field next to it where softball games are played and a basketball court.

Just a short post today to share these pics. We've got some weather moving in today from Nate, so I should have time to properly catch up this weekend. First Irma in FL and now this! Shouldn't be too bad here though, I don't think.
