End of the Dental Adventure in Merida

Who doesn't' love a good before and after? Thought I'd share these pics to show that although I didn't document my second round of dental work (just couldn't), it all turned out well in the end.

As you might recall, the dentist here in Merida, Dr. Sanchez, did the original work in December, replacing the crowns on my two front teeth, but unfortunately, the result was not what I had in mind (my teeth looked grey). However, I came back to Merida to have them redone (ugh), and I have to say, he was meticulous about making them look right. I think he did a great job.

Anyway, these were the most similar pics I could find to show the before (before I went to Dr. Sanchez, that is) and after. I know I look a bit rough in the first one, but you get the idea. :) Anyway, I'm really happy with the result now, and I'm also thrilled not to have to go the dentist or think/talk/write about my teeth for a loooooong time.

I leave Saturday morning for San Miguel de Allende, and best of all, Mike got his ticket to come and visit me there next week. I plan to smile a lot.
